Worship and Prayer Get-Together
As pastors, ministers, and ministry leaders, the privilege to serve our flock while bridging the gap between biblical principles and the modern world can bring daily difficulties. We all can see that the culture around us is ever-changing, not always aware of God, and sometimes at odds with the values we uphold in the Bible.
These cultural changes are nothing new, even to our area, and we as the Scurry County Ministerial Alliance have learned that two local establishments will be holding drag queen shows on May 17 and 31 of 2025.
While we most definitely do not want these things to happen, we cannot help but remember God’s goodness and the unity that our community has been blessed with. Therefore, let's once again unite in worship and prayer!

You are invited to the Scurry County Courthouse Pavilion on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 6pm.
We will meet for worship and prayer for our city and county and commit ourselves to being the light of Christ together so we can show the way to those around us.
